Business and manual-inspection hours are 09:00–17:00 SAST on working weekdays, excluding public holidays. Jordan checks remotely during absence and arranges inspection access. His immediate availability may vary; this does not suspend statutory deadlines. No deputy is appointed and fax is not available.
Records held by BMT
BMT holds company and CIPC records; financial, tax and supplier records; correspondence; employment and payroll records; customer, sponsorship, marketing and event records; and Player24, editorial, intellectual-property and technology records.
Published website information and this manual can be accessed without a formal PAIA request. Other records are assessed under the applicable law. Listing a category does not make its records automatically public; confidentiality, privacy and other lawful protections may apply.
Make an access request
- Complete the Information Regulator’s PAIA Form 2 (PDF). Describe the record, provide your contact details and preferred form of access, and explain the right you wish to exercise or protect and why the record is needed.
- Send the request to Jordan at info@player24.org, or deliver or post it to the address above. Include authority to act if you represent another person.
- BMT will verify identity and authority proportionately. Contact Jordan to arrange a suitable channel for required identity evidence; do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents.
Contact Jordan if you need help describing a record or completing the form, including assistance related to a disability.
Timing and fees
BMT must decide as soon as reasonably possible, ordinarily within 30 days of receiving the request or required particulars, subject to PAIA’s procedures. A single extension of up to a further 30 days is allowed on specified grounds. BMT must provide a written extension notice within the initial period, explaining the reason and remedies.
Only prescribed fees may be charged, with applicable exemptions. BMT will explain any required fee or deposit before payment. The decision will explain whether access is granted, partly granted or refused, together with the reasons, arrangements and remedies.
Further assistance
The Information Regulator’s PAIA guidance and forms explain access requests and complaints, including Form 5. BMT is a private body; a compulsory internal appeal is not required before a complaint to the Regulator. Asking BMT to reconsider does not pause statutory time limits. The manual explains remedies in more detail.
For access, correction, objection or deletion enquiries concerning your own personal information, contact Jordan and read our privacy notice. BMT will help identify the appropriate process. Deletion may be limited by lawful retention duties.
You may also inspect the manual at BMT’s principal business address during the hours above, or request a copy subject to lawful charges. No additional mandatory appointment is required for statutory inspection.
